Whew!

Life around here continues to stay busy, busy, busy! So much has been going on I haven't had much time to do anything, but we are all having fun and enjoying life. I have lots of pictures on my camera that I need to upload and post, but for now, I have a little slideshow for you:) For those of you that are subscribed to my blog, you will just see a blank space. I'm Back!

My DSL connection was down most of the time all week:(. When I could get online it took about 5 minutes to load each page, so I really didn't spend much time on the computer. It has been fixed for a few days now and I have some things for you:).

Natalie told me she had to go potty last night! YAY!!!! Hopefully this will be the start of a quick and easy potty training period. We'll save over $40 a month on diapers which is a good thing! I'm so proud of my little girl that I could just pee. Pun intended, ROFL.

Christopher got to be the Line Leader at school this week. He was apprehensive at first, but he ended up enjoying it to the fullest! I can't wait to see what job Ms. Kristie has him doing next week. Next week they are going on a field trip to the Fire Station. I was asked to come along, so hopefully I'll get some good pictures!

On to me... My photo class is going well, I am really starting to learn my camera and all the power I have when I get it out of Auto mode. Here is the photo I ended up turning in for the tree assignment



It wasn't the best one, but it made me happy and I guess that is all that counts, right? Our last assignment was a picture that we would not normally take. With me, that is easy, I just had to take a photo of something that was not my children, LOL. This is what I did for that one and the instructors seemed to really like it

If you have made it this far you get a reward! I have 2 videos of my precious kiddos:) Uncle Keenan came over last night and the kids had a blast using him as a trampoline and sounding board.



While Christopher is in his gymnastics class some of the older girls are always there practicing their vaulting. Sometimes he watches them and sometimes he doesn't. Apparently he has been paying close attention to them, though, this morning he put a pillow on the floor to use as a spring board while he was doing flips onto the loveseat. Now he does the flips regularly, but the pillow is new and I thought it was too cute not to share!

Photography

So I started a photography course last Wednesday. I thought I would post some of the photos I've taken for class. The first assignment was a self portrait and it had to be intereting. Here is the photo that I came up with:

I am really enjoying my class. I will continue to post the photos that I take and how I am doing in class.

We Are Still Here...

And we have been really busy! We have had a lot going on in the past few weeks so I do have a few things to share with you:) I'm just going to lump it all into one post for right now.

Here is some video of Christopher at gymnastics... he is supposed to be doing cartwheels and he does get a few in...



We went to the park for a play night with some church friends. The kids quickly found the water.

Both of the kids are happy and healthy and doing wonderful in school. Daniel and I are busy, but we are having so much fun with our small family. We have a couple of birthdays coming up soon and we are in the planning stages of the party. We plan to have it at a bounce place in Needville on Oct 20th. I will really try to update my blog before then! It is dinnertime, so have a great week everybody!

Puddle Fun!

Happy Labor Day! We have no big plans for today other than doing some grocery shopping. I also have to buy school supplies because school starts back up tomorrow. I think we are all excited about that! Christopher's teacher from last year (Mrs. Kristi) has moved up to the 3 year old class and will be his teacher again this year. I know that he loved her and so I'm happy she will be his teacher again. Natalie's teacher will be Mrs. Marilyn, we met her several times last year when I would take Natalie in to play and they get along well. I think it is going to be a very fun year for all of them:)


Yesterday I took the kids for a walk and since we have had some rain recently there were quite a few puddles around. The kids wanted to jump in all of them, but bad Mommy that I am, I said they couldn't. I just didn't want them walking in wet shoes. When we got to the church across the street from the house, I let them play in the puddle there. They had so much fun! I'll post the photos now. I have some video that I will post later, it is taking a long time to upload.

Sorry for the delay in posts, I was sick last week and have been swamped this week. Things are starting to calm down a little, though. I don't have any new pictures that are blog worthy, but I have made several layouts in the past few weeks.
